What if I use Discount Ninja on multiple stores?

What about my development/staging environment?

Discount Ninja can be used free of charge (max. 99 orders/month) on non-production Shopify shops, such as development and staging environments.

Do you offer annual billing? Yes, compared to our monthly plans you can save 8% by subscribing to our annual plans.

Do you offer an Enterprise plan? Need a plan with more orders? We offer an Enterprise plan (starts at $599 for 20k orders, includes 4 expansion stores) and Enterprise+ plan (starts at $749 for 50k orders, includes 8 expansion stores).

Do you offer special pricing for NPOs?

We proudly support nonprofit organizations that align with our mission and values. Eligible nonprofits may receive a 15% discount on our services as part of our commitment to fostering positive change.

COMPATIBILITY

Do you use a custom checkout page? No. Discount Ninja integrates with the native Shopify checkout page using discount functions.

Is the app compatible with my drawer cart? Yes. The app can be configured to work with any drawer cart (aka slide-out or mini cart). Our team will set this up for you, free of charge.

Can I use the app with page builders? Yes. The app supports the most popular page builders (PageFly, Zipify Pages, GemPages and Shogun).

Can I combine loyalty discount codes with Discount Ninja promotions? Yes. Discount Ninja's Promo Code Field widget allows visitors to redeem Shopify discount codes, including those generated by loyalty apps provided they are not user-specific. See this page for more.

Will an automated product catalog import conflict with Discount Ninja? No. Updating the prices in the product catalog does not cause conflicts with Discount Ninja. Since the app applies discounts dynamically discounts are not overridden by updating prices in the product catalog.

Is the app compatible with product options apps?

Product options apps typically hide option products in the cart (e.g. SC Product Options). The option products are then bundled with a parent product and the price is combined. Combining product bundles with Discount Ninja promotions results in an incorrect cart line item price when products with options are discounted

Is the app compatible with subscription products? Yes. You can offer discounts on subscription products. Subscription products can also easily be excluded from deals.

Can the app handle a large product catalog? Yes. Offers apply instantly to all applicable products as soon as you activate the promotion.

PROMOTION ENGINE

How many promotions can I run at the same time? Discount Ninja is not limited by the available "automatic discount" slots available in your Shopify store. The discount functions used by Discount Ninja are generic and can handle, in theory, any number of promotions. However, we recommend running no more than 100 live offers at any point in time.

Can the app combine multiple offers?

The app automatically determines the best product discount for each product in your store and in the cart. Order discounts can be combined with product discounts if the combination settings allow for it. Finally, shipping discounts can optionally be combined with product and order discounts.

Are discounts applied on POS and on my Facebook store? No. Discount Ninja's promotions apply only on the Online Store.

Do you change the price of products in the product catalog? No. Prices of product variants are not changed in the product catalog. Instead the app applies discounts dynamically. This allows you to offer different discounts to different segments of your audience.

Do you use functions to apply discounts? Yes. Discount Ninja uses up to 5 generic discount functions to apply discounts. Discount functions are applied seamlessly at the native checkout. A legacy mode is available for stores that cannot use functions. In the legacy mode the app can discount the checkout using the Draft Order API (deprecated) or via standard Shopify discount codes.

Do you leverage the native checkout? Yes. Discount Ninja uses discount functions to apply discounts at checkout. Discount functions are fully supported by Shopify in the native checkout.

GIFT WITH PURCHASE

Can the app apply a gift automatically? Yes. If a cart qualifies (for example based on the quantity or value of specific products) the app can automatically add a gift with purchase. If the cart no longer qualifies at a later stage then the gift is automatically removed.

Can visitors pick a gift? Yes. The app allows you to configure offers where the customer is requested to pick a gift from a collection of gifts when the cart qualifies.

SHIPPING

Can I offer free shipping on selective rates? Yes. You can select the rates you wish to discount based on the price of the shipping rate or the name of the rate.

Can I offer shipping discounts for specific countries? Yes. The app allows you to offer shipping discounts based on the shipping address. You can filter based on the country and for some countries states (US) and provinces (Canada, Spain, France) are also supported.

TARGETING

Can I limit promotions to specific markets or countries? Yes. All promotions can be configured to filter based on the market selected by the visitor or the country linked to the IP address of the visitor (geolocation).

Can I offer promotions to specific customer segments? Yes. Simply tag the customer account (e.g. Wholesale or VIP). Then associate that tag with the promotions to allow customers to unlock promotions by logging in to their account.
